A Bit About Me

My name is Kári Fannar Lárusson Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine and a side business for over 20 years. I hold an M.A. degree in Polar Law from the University of Akureyri, and my main occupation is with the Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF), Biodiversity Working Group of the Arctic Council. I have a deep interest in biodiversity and conservation issues, and I believe in the importance of cooperation between Arctic States, Rightholders, and other stakeholders, as well as non-Arctic States, to address these critical challenges.

Over the years, I have worked with a broad range of clients, and my work has been showcased in one private exhibition and several group exhibitions. I have had the privilege of participating in people's most cherished moments by photographing weddings, confirmations, and graduations. I have also worked for large clients such as BBC, Samherji, Arctic Mayors Forum, Icelandic Ministries, and several others.

I am Icelandic, married and have two daughters, aged 10 and 14
